@AB, i don't think anyone ever truly finds what they search for in life. Desire is the root of all pain, desire for meaning, love, ect., but such abstract things are never gained in full, and a person is never content constantly chasing such illusions. Camus would say there is n meaning in life, the Buddhists that searching for anything in life leads to pain. Even then, what ever illusions works now is fine and will continue society to live, thats a bit from Nietzsche. Old illusions don't work, but new ones can at least sustain someone for a little. idk, life is weird.
